  1. Sometimes I take everything out of the fridge - and lay the vegies on the counter and my heart gets so happy. I love looking at everything, the colors and the textures and let inspiration guide me to what to cook.

    I know this must sound silly, but I am loving this harvest. I'm very busy teaching at SVA and home, and the quick recipes you post help so much!. Thanks. Last night we sauteed the red onions, with garlic, peppers, and tomato then added the zucchini and parsley with red beans. Chilled it and ate it cold with garlic toast. And of course, plums for dessert. Yum.

    Has anyone tried the fennel? Would love to hear your stories.
